Wilson’s Promontory – Victoria Australia

We combined this walk with the Great Ocean Road Walk. A ferry ride and 2 overnight stays in Victoria on the way to Wilson’s Prom refreshed the spirit and our feet to once again get out there. This is the second overnight walk I took my sister on. Day 1 Yanakie to Roaring Meg Up early and saw the sun rise over Northern Wilson’s Promontory.  Got away at 8:10 from our digs for the night – Black Cockatoo Cottage which was a lovely place to stay.  Very pretty drive from entrance gate of Wilson’s Prom to Tidal River. Great Ocean Walk – Victoria Australia

I’d done quite a bit of overnight hiking and long distance walks and thought, my sister might also enjoy this type of holiday. So here it is….our maiden adventure together on the Great Ocean Walk… the start of many, many more amazing times.
